Advisor to the Federal Chamber of Lawyers of Russia Helen Avakyan to take part in a panel discussion at Blockchain Conference Moscow
Expert at the Committee on new technologies and legal support of digitalization at the Association of Lawyers of Russia Helen Avakyan will take part in a panel discussion at Blockchain Conference Moscow.
The panel discussion is titled: ‘Regulation of blockchain and digital financial assets’.
The crypto experts will discuss:
- whether the crypto industry needs regulation;
- how digital assets affect capital management;
- changes in the law ‘On Digital Financial Assets’;
- why the term ‘cryptocurrency’ isn’t mentioned in the law anymore.
Helen Avakyan is an Advisor to the Federal Chamber of Lawyers of the Russian Federation, member of governing bodies, and expert at law committees of infrastructure market and stock exchange organizations.
From 2004 until 2007, she has been the Chairman of the NAUFOR SRO Arbitration Court.
Since 2006, the speaker has obtained a position of Head of the paperwork management department at the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation.
Since the spring of 2002, the expert has been a social assistant to Viktor Pleskachevsky, the Chairman of the Russian State Duma Property Committee.
The speaker is a holder of the Order of Peter the Great (First Class). She is a member of multiple expert committees on legal issues at the Russian Government, boards of directors, and departments of a range of state-owned financial organizations.
The panel discussion will be part of Blockchain Conference Moscow scheduled for November 20.
